NOAA RESTORE Science Program at CERF 2019 Conference

At the Coastal and Estuarine Research Federation (CERF) 2019 Biennial Conference in Mobile, AL, the NOAA RESTORE Science Program will participate in sessions and learn about recent advances in coastal and estuarine science and its application.

Program director Julien Lartigue will join Melissa Baustian (Louisiana Center of Excellence), Kelly Darnell (Mississippi-Based RESTORE Act Center of Excellence), Chuck Wilson (Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative), and Jessica Henkel (Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council) for a panel discussion as part of the ‘New insights in the Gulf of Mexico nine years after the Deepwater Horizon oil spillsession (Tu, Nov 5, 1-2:30 PM, 201C).

Caitlin Young will present on the steps the Science Program has taken to facilitate the co-production of science in the Gulf of Mexico including the outcomes from a recent workshop in Texas (Th, Nov 7, 4-4:15 PM, 204B).
